I just purchased AS2 and was very disappointed that it wont work on both Airlink and Virtual Desktop.
Airlink: tracking issues upon launch making the game very jittery and nauseating and my Quest 3 controllers are not recognized, so I am stuck in the main menu. I also noticed that it launches SteamVR even if i launched it in the Oculus app.. this is strange and is probably the root cause (I did not launch any other Steam Game during this time. I restarted PC and AS2 keeps launching SteamVR everytime i run it from the Oculus PC app. Very odd behavior)
Virtual Desktop:
The game launches in flat screen vs VR and controllers dont work. This makes the game unplayable.
1) all other VR games in my Oculus PC app work fine (Asgards Wrath 2, Lone Echo, etc) in both Airlink and VD
2) Quest 3 controllers are connected, with 90% battery.
3) Similar issue is reported by many Oculus users in reddit
4) Quest 3 Standalone is working fine, but i want to play PC version due to better graphics and performance
If this isn't fixed soon I would like a refund because the game is unplayable. I prefer to buy the Steam version instead which I heard works fine.
Ok..when you say "PC VR app" are you talking about the application inside of the quest two that is all white looking and the panels on the bottom? Until this game everything Has worked with no problem with Virtual desktop.

Hello...I tried all of your steps...but it just won't work. Everything is connected, firewall totally off, and network is on private. Even steam link won't work because it won't connect.

To help look into this further, we would want to try launching other applications from the Meta Quest app. If these are able to launch and run fine, but the issue is only encountered when attempting to launch the game purchased through Steam, you will want to contact Steam support for additional assistance. If I use the quest link then Steam games don't show up but all games from Oculus and Rift do and play fine. I normally use Virtual desktop because it will show all games from Steam and Oculus and everything launches except for this one game when it loads it's a flat screen, the first time I've ever experienced this.

I got it to finally load. I had to use steam link and for whatever reason the issue with this game only is if my valve index is connected then the game won't work. All the other games work fine except for this one. I finally managed to see the game, disappointed that they didn't even make new horde Maps just recycled the ones from Arizona one. Well at least I got it working
