Hi @AnneMarie122295 🙂

I think you have to uninstall and reinstall the game.....maybe the June update wasn't go through properly?

If cloud bakup is enabled (normally it is set by default), you won't lose your progress.

You have "cloud backup" in your tags, so I think you already know about it and know how it works......anyway, I'll put in the link for you🙂

Hey there, @Leviathan.420. We noticed you were having some issues being able to enjoy Asgard's Wrath 2, so we wanted to pop in to help make sure you were able to get back up and running smoothly!

With you already getting started troubleshooting this concern, we would like to attempt the following to see how the device responds:

  • Make sure your headset and the Meta Quest mobile app are fully up-to-date.
  • Log out of the Meta Quest mobile app
  • While signed out, hard reboot the headset by holding the power button for 30 seconds
  • Once the device comes back up, let's sign back into the mobile app, then test how the app appears.

Of course, if there are any issues, do let us know! We'd love to continue working with you to gert to the bottom of this!

Hello again, thanks for trying to help me, I have done as you listed and it hasn't worked.

Let me explain what I did so far and what my problem is exactly. So, after the Asgard Wrath 2 update I haven't been able to actually update the game, therefore i tried updating it many times when i shutdown my headset and do the auto update thingy and ignored it for a while and now when I wanted to play the game, I couldn't. So I tried updating the game and after a while I came back, put my headset on and when it was almost done, i just kept watching as it was downloading. Suddenly, the installation cancels when it was about 29 GBs out of 33 GBs. I tried again and again but it was no use, i uninstalled some games i have and reinstalled them and it worked like its supposed to download any app/game ever. Even the new game i bought recently has been downloaded with no problem or retries to do so.

I did as you have listed and it was not any help, I tried the remote download command from my Meta Quest mobile app on my phone and it was futile.
I checked the updates if needed on all my devices and tried again just to face another failure.
I uninstalled Asgard Wrath 2 to see if anything would change and it did not work. Still cuts installing around the end like i mentioned above.
I'm wondering what the issue can be linked to that I specifically cannot install or update Asgard Wrath 2.

Thank you for your time

Hi @Leviathan.420 🙂

you said, you also have other games on the Quest.

Have you ever checked, if you have enough space to download/install Asgard's Wrath 2.

To do so, you might need more than 33GB free space.

You can look for it in headset - settings - storage/space....I'm not sure what it says, mine is not in english.

We appreciate you attempting those steps and providing more details, @Leviathan.420. Like @Choleni suggested, it is always good to review how your device storage is appearing and if the app is able to download while some of your other games are uninstalled.

After giving it a try, if any issues continue, we'd like to see if connecting to a new Wi-Fi network or hotspot helps to allow the download to be completed. While a factory reset would be our last resort, we do want to make sure to exhaust all steps prior to doing so!

Hey there! We just wanted to swing by to check in on how things were appearing with Asgard's Wrath 2. Of course, if there are any issues, do let us know! We want to make sure you're all set!

Hello, sorry for not answering I have been busy at work. Thank you all for trying to help me with my issue. It means a lot.
About storage, I have bought the 512gb space/storage for this matter not to occur, however I checked on storage anyway and it said that I had 356gb of storage free. I checked once again for storage and it really is empty with 356gb.
I have tried to download a game I bought newly and it did install flawlessly, it's just Asgard Wrath 2 not wanting to be installed for some reason. I took my Quest 3 to my friend's house to download using his own WiFi-Network and it was also futile.  I don't know what else to do, the game just refuses to be downloaded regardless of whatever I try to do, every other game I download works and installs completely fine but AW2 never will.

Thank you for touching base with us when you could, @Leviathan.420. With the issue still being seen after attempting those steps, we'd like to complete a factory reset of the device. Prior to doing so, it is always best to make sure the headset is backed up using Cloud Backup to save as much game progress as possible.

Once confirmed, let's complete the following steps:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

Once everything comes back up, do let us know how Asgard's Wrath continues to appear. We want to continue to exhaust all options to have you back in action!
