Hello,
My husband and I share a Meta 3. We have been enjoying playing Asgard's Wrath 2, but we got the July update early and now the game won't work. The Meta crashes we try to enter the portal for the storyline and I am missing most of my text. I can see the character's name, but not where the portal will take me. I cannot read anything on the cosmic event outside of the new objectives on the left, but I assumed that was because it wasn't July yet. The screen to claim the June items and pick a new faction is completely black, but the sound works.
I also have blocks in the menu where there is usually a symbol to indicate new information. Both of us have gray blocks instead of a handle on the rift chest in the In-between. I tried checking for an update, but the system said there were no updates available. We noticed it over the last three days and other games are not having glitches.

Good day, @Keliku and @DarthMaterK! Thanks for contacting us regarding Asgard's Wrath 2 (AW2) crashing after being updated. We appreciate you both letting us know what troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
If you haven't done so, please uninstall AW2 and reinstall it. Next, we kindly ask that you restart your device and attempt to play AW2 again. We understand that you don't want to factory reset your device, but since you mentioned saving your game, we kindly ask that you ensure cloud backup is enabled. When cloud backup is turned on, Meta backs up your device’s app data, like app progress or app settings, to the cloud. This allows you to easily pick up where you left off in a game if you reinstall an app or factory reset your device. Please keep in mind that while Cloud Backup is available to all Meta Quest developers, it's up to developers to decide whether to enable this feature for their app and what data is backed up. Lastly, perform a factory reset and let us know if it helps!

Same problem here. I can easily load the game into the main area with the portal that leads to the main game, but when I go into the portal and run down the bridge it starts loading for a second and then crashes. The portal also only says Abraxas. I have even tried talking to the D.M. mini-dungeons lady to see if it was just the main quest that wouldn't load. That crashes too. The chest in the middle also has a kind of coder's light grey and dark grey checkered rectangle inside the handle. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no effect. I would rather not delete my data as I have just finished getting Abraxas's soul gem and had saved and quit almost right after receiving it.

It took some doing, but I just got it to work. I had to uninstall the game from my husband's account and my account. Then I had to go back to the Store to reinstall it on the main account. Reinstalling it from the Apps window didn't work.

I followed @Keliku's solution of uninstalling it from both my account and my friends account on my device and reinstalled it in the Store on my account and now it works.
I'm assuming when I "uninstalled" it from my account, it didn't actually uninstall fully as my friend's account still had it installed and so when I "re-installed" it, it just loaded the game from his account.
Apparently something I noticed was that the before I fixed it, the "shaders compiling" part of starting up the game didn't actually appear when I started up the game, but now that it works, it goes from the 6,000 shaders to 0 like normal.
