I obtained a copy of Asgard's Wrath 2 through the Quest+ subscription. When I launch the game, it loads into what appears to be an initial configuration screen, in which a mummified person asks me to extend my arms out and click the directional joystick. No matter how many times I click, nothing happens. Nor does anything happen if i use any other button, combination of buttons or actions. The game is not frozen, as if I drop my arms it still responds by telling me to extend them. I am fully stuck at this screen.
I have read through similar issues on this forum, and have since done:
Hard restarts of my Quest 2
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Checked for updates on the game, the headset
Reinstalled again, then ran updates (there were none) then hard restarted the quest 2.
Hard restarted again, uninstalled and reinstalled for a third time.
After all of these, my issue persists. Please let me know if there is something else I am missing. All other applications are working as normal.
......are you sure that you pressed the joystick hard enough? I've seen people with the problem who just didn't push the joystick all the way down... also you shouldn't push it in any direction.
Hi @Choleni, no worries, not a stupid question at all. I have had issues with my joysticks in the past, so I cleaned them out of gunk and retried. I'm feeling a clean "click" when I push down, but it's not seeming to acknowledge it as a click. 🤷:male_sign:
I don't know what you can do...my next suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall the game...but you already did that😁
You can try a different save slot, but I doubt that will help if your controller is the problem.
