Asgard's Wrath Download Issues

Hi,

Whenever I try to download Asgard's Wrath, the game just stops downloading when it's at about 20 GB. When I check my SSD, there is a 129GB sized file called ''Staging'', and in it is a file called ''sinzaru games inc wrath. When I try to redownload it, I can't since theres no more room until I remove the Staging file. So when I remove this file, I can download it again but then again the same issue comes. I have 140GB free, but still it says after a couple of minutes downloading that my SSD is completely full.

good luck everybody!

I had this issue (as well as an issue with downloading the Oculus app) but stumbled across a different solution that worked for me.  It had to do with a missing value in the registry.  This seems to be an issue either with home PC builds, University PC's, or possibly PC's running the professional version of windows.

The solution is to open a command prompt with admin privileges.  Then type in either: REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Oculus VR, LLC\Oculus\Libraries" or REG ADD "HKU\.DEFAULT\Software\Oculus VR, LLC\Oculus\Libraries".  It can't hurt to add them both.

This worked for me:

- Turn off all windows defender features
- Restart PC
- Turn off windows defender live protection (because it starts after restart)
- Download and install the game

Hello guys,

I tried to install it but my PC freezes every time. I ran the installation with my task manager open and I noticed that my memory starts being used at 90%+ out of nowhere until my PC can't handle anymore and dies.

This doesn't happen with any other game and with any other client. Only using the Oculus App and installing Asgard's Wrath.

I downloaded up to 100%, after that it just said that it cannot install it.

Clicking on the notification just takes you to a generic page. I'm not using a VPN or anything.

Going to my library, I have the option of downloading it (again)....all 86GB...THANKS!!!!

I'll let you know in 3 days time if it installs this time...

Hey @john.carlyle. I'm hoping you were able to download Asgards Wrath by now, but I wanted to check in and see if that was the case.

If not, I'd suggest shooting over a PM to @MetaQuestSupport. They should be able to help out with some options to test out.

Sometimes it's okay to be a little Bing Chilling

I gave it another go, last time I checked the status it was at 48% Checked again... 1% It just decided to restart!!!!!

Again, I'll let you know in 3 days....
I cannot really see what "options" there are to test out, there's a download button and that's it!
