So I recently decided to actually get through Asgard's Wrath with the second one coming real soon. problem is it stutters so bad as to be unplayable. I made sure nothing else is running. I have tried the physx fix I found on redit to make sure it is set to my video card. I made sure the Oculus runtime was the highest priority in my task manager. quality settings make no difference. It just starts stuttering so bad its unplayable and I dont know what to do here. I have a 10700KS processor, 32gb of Ram. a 3070 TI. If I try opening the oculus menu it goes crazy and is completely unplayable. I dont know what else to do here. standalone games run amazing. Steam games are like butter on max settings. the only game I have trouble with is Asgard's Wrath. I am on an NVME SSD even. I dont have any idea what is causing this or what else to try. Considering this is an action combat game especially when it starts doing this it is unplayable. I dont know what else to do here.

I appreciate the help trying to troubleshoot this. No idea why its an issue lately. it didnt use to be. this game used to run wonderfully.

I read through your posts and I have the same problem. When I first got this game it ran great either with the air link or with the cable. Now suddenly it is stutters so much its unplayable. It is just this game too. I have other steam games that play just fine. I will keep an eye on this thread to see if there is a solution. Its just puzzling that it would suddenly act up like this.

I would be interested about the answer you got, I have the exact same problem, I've tried everything and I'm about to uninstal..
The weird thing is, when I launch the game the overlay works fine, and then after 10-15 min it starts to stutter so much I cannot do anything but alt+f4 on the computer. No problem on other games as well.
Config: RTX3070, ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb ram (+ the game is installed on an SSD nvme).

so far I havent gotten an answer and the responses I got talk about problems with games and the quest 2. obviously, they havent bothered reading into the situation. everything else works beautifully and plays and works great. super happy with my quest 3. except for this one game. I dont plan to hold my breath

same for me. everything else runs gorgeously. its just this game. and it used to run great. on worse hardware. now its like a **bleep** slideshow and impossible to do the fights.
