Since this is not only related to Virtual Desktop, I have updated the thread title. The download speed on the Quest Pro headset is broken on V76 and you cannot achieve more than about 200mbps despite having a strong 2400mbps Wi-Fi connection. This was not a problem in V74. I reported this using the in-headset bug report tool with each micro-release of V76 in PTC, yet Meta still chose to ship a broken update to the main branch anyway.
My original post:
Since installing PTC v76, I experience high network and decoding latency while running Virtual Desktop, especially at high bitrates (>200mbps). This started immediately after installing PTC v76 and persists after reboot. Another Quest Pro still on v74 on the same network connecting to the same PC with the same settings experiences no issues. Additionally, the problem happens whether I use 5GHz or 6GHz Wi-Fi. It seems something is causing the headset to bog down and not be able to process the stream and decode it fast enough. Using the 'boost clock rates' option in Virtual Desktop helps but does not resolve the issue.

This is still a problem on the latest PTC update I just received, V76.1020 (build ending in .330). I reported in-headset as well.

I have the same thing. Moreover, it doesn't matter whether I use VD or Air Link. It's usable only with bitrate < 200, although before I used 650 without any problems, lol.

Still happens in the standard release of V76

Yep it is broken in the official release; I guess all those bug reports I sent in headset were ignored as usual. Note this issue is not just related to Virtual Desktop. The download speed is basically capped at 200mbps due to some problem with this update. You can verify this using a locally hosted speed test server.

I've also post it to show other concerns

Running into the same issue. I decided to restart my headset today to have it update and boy do I regret it!
