I know a lot of people who like to turn the music off in game, or even add their own music to their games. Up until the Feb 5th update with the newest browser I was able to do this but now for some reason am unable to. I've read a lot of comments on YouTube videos stating the same thing, that up until recently they could all listen to music and it suddenly stopped. I noticed something in the patch notes mentioning music playing is, "Tabs in immersive: Your browser tabs will now be available across immersive applications." so maybe that has something to do with it? I have no discernable idea, and I'm quite frankly slightly miffed at this inconvenience. Obviously it's not world ending, but it sucks not being able to play my favorite games and listen to my own music.

I also want to confirm, since you mentioned trying to use YouTube, Spotify, and Twitch Streaming through the browser. Is the feature also missing when you're using the apps (like the YouTube app, Spotify app, etc.) themselves, or is it only through the browser? yes, also hapens on the apps YouTube app, Spotify app, etc. Ideally i'm trying to achieve this with Fluid (How to watch multiple videos at the same time ), a thing that the experimental feature (background audio playback) that i'm not getting can solve.
Hey there! I appreciate you sharing that info with me. I've been working with our engineering teams, and they wanted to see if some troubleshooting might help with this issue:
Perform a hard reboot on your headset.
Try connecting your headset to another network.
See if you're able to play the music and an app individually rather than at the same time.
If this doesn't work, they also mentioned that PTC v68 has also become available. If you're able to sign up for it, they would like to see if updating to that version might be able to resolve the issue. Let me know whenever you can!

I can play everything individaully, but when i try to play 2 at same time one stops, this happens on quest brwoiser and on fluid/the spatial app.
Exemple: Spotify is not working with youtube, and if i try in fluit app i cant play 2 youtubes videos at same time like the video i sent on last reply.

Yeah, same here. Normally, I would be listening to music from Spotify in the browser app while playing a game, but as of today, I am unable to have my music continue to play when i open the game that I was playing.

Like yourself I enjoy bopping along to my own music when playing games. Have you tried the above troubleshooting provided by @The_1st_Dark_Lord_Morgoth?
This is an older thread so we are now on V69. Make sure you've completed all updates and are on the latest build.
