I just got my new quest 3 and one thing I noticed about it the second I loaded up Blade and Sorcery through virtual desktop is how compressed the audio is. I also tried using Airlink and it was the same compressed audio there. I have a good wifi connection and things sounded way better on my Quest 2. I don't know why this is a problem because I have only heard good things about the audio, altough I don't think it is so great. It sounds raspy and very compressed compared to the quest 2 and I am starting to question if it even was worth buying it in the first place. I wanna see if there are other people with a similar issue and if it can be fixed. I ordered a Kiwi headstrap which maybe can help me look pass the bad Audio with better comfort but I don't really know. Any help?

The audio is a little tinny, partly as a result of how far from your ears the actual speaker is, but I wouldn't say it sounds compressed. A pair of decent headphones plugged into the headphone socket sound fine.

Hey @Powerbeamz! We are just dropping in with you. We see that you are having issue with the audio with your headset while paying PCVR. We want you to have the best experience as possible. @user_901925786032222 made a great suggestion, have you used the device with headphones? Does it happen with all the applications, or is it limited to a specific program? Does it change wherever you move? Does it happen while you are inside or outside Oculus Home? Let us know how we can further assist you. We are happy to help.
