Barrier and Update problem for Quest 2

so I've had my quest 2 for a few years now and today i wanted to use steam vr, so i boot up my vr after getting off it a few hours back. keep note my headset is fully charged.  and so once when i hop on i see that my barrier isn't saved. so i restart my headset and again. barrier isn't saved. even after creating a new one over and over again it does not save, not to mention my menu doesn't show up if i use the menu button on my controllers. and every time i go to turn off my headset it says its updating even though when i power it off after its done "Updating" it still says that there is a update to run. i don't know whats going on but can someone please explain this to me????

same here. cant play anything. restarted like 10 times and same problem

A lot of people including myself are having this issue. Its caused by the latest update. Nothing you can do other than wait for Meta to fix this mess or do a factory update. Just don't download redownload the update or it'll happen again.

We know how important headset updates can be for all sorts of reasons, especially bug fixes for issues, such as the issue you are experiencing with your play space. We would love to help you out and see if we can get things going as expected!

Have you tried manually updating your headset? This can be done from the settings menu, under the "System" folder, and clicking the "System update" tab where it will give you the option to update your headset.

Please let us know if you are able to update your headset manually. If you continue to have issues, be sure to Report a problem on Meta Quest so the proper teams can take a look into these issues.
