i just spend £289 for batman and meta3s only to find out i cant play due to motion sickness, there is one motion sickness option (Vignette) that anyone who suffers with motion sickness knows is useless! does not work and is there only to tick the box that the developers have provided comfort to motion sick users/new to VR users.... but the truth is not everyone that buys a headset will be able to play Batman and they now have to spend £40 on a different game to play on top of the £289 just spent.... every AAA Game has added teleport comfort option that works without the game breaking too often so all users can play, except for Batman.....then the developers sent me a link to talk on discord saying 'they are all ears' 'get in touch and we will see how they can make your experience more comfortable'.......all they said was....thanks for getting in touch then for 3 week spoke to everyone else about all the other bugs and issues TOTALY IGNORING MOTION SICKNESS COMMENTS....LACK OF GAME INFO BEFORE PURCHCHASE AND LACK OF FEEDBACK AND INTERACTION FROM DEVELOPERS ON THIS SUBJUST HAS BEEN INSULTING anyone who opens this on Christmas day as a gift will be gutted when they find out they spent £289 for batman only to be very disappointed that they cannot even play the game due to motion sickness. No warning that you might get motion sick before you bought the headset and batman. the word 'MODERATE' as comfort level is no indication game includes motion sickness anymore than a indication of arachnophobia(with spiders) so no way of knowing before purchase what you will experience....you have offered a demo of Batman (i found out after puschase) but if headset is a gift for Christmas how can people play demo without the headset yet or before headset purchase? ultimately 30% of META 3S headset buyers will never play Batman ! and will not know if they can until after £289 purchase then its too late like myself! i have owned this game since release and never played because i cant !

Hi @rhysalmighty.2023 🙂
..... anyone who opens this on Christmas day as a gift will be gutted when they find out they spent £289 for batman only to be very disappointed that they cannot even play the game due to motion sickness.
That's not quite correct..... you spent 289 for a Quest 3S and get the game for FREE.
That's a tiny difference. There are other games which you can play with it.
It's sad, that you can't play Batman right now because of motion sickness, but you haven't paid for it, so you haven't lost any money.
A purchased game can be refunded, if you've issues with it.....but of course, you can't get a refund for something you haven't paid for.
And who knows.....maybe in a few months you will have overcome your motion sickness and got “VR legs” and can play it.
This might help you too🙂

And who knows.....maybe in a few months you will have overcome your motion sickness and got “VR legs” and can play it. (ive been playing VR for a year and no chance of ever getting VR LEGS....nither any of my friends that play VR. Everyone i know uses Teleport movement. never herad of anyone that has actual grown there vr legs... this comment sounds like an easy way to dismiss the issue.
i understand that with Christmas 4 weeks away you dont have time or money to make changes now so unfortunately it will come at the expense of unaware motion sick users (there are alot of us) weather you agree or not, THIS REMAINS TRUE! im letting you know what some of your customers are/will go thorugh if you want to sweep it under the rug like it not an issue....i never expected any better or more effort to help these users, clearly in future games motion sick users are going to left behind in VR and un-considered like now. what if a parent buy a headset think there child would love it......how would a non tech parent buying for there child know if there child can play without spending £289 like i fell for?
INSULTING COMMENT...........It's sad, that you can't play Batman right now because of motion sickness, but you haven't paid for it, so you haven't lost any money.
WOW THIS STSTEMENT FROM YOU IS QUITE SHOCKING

Infact the game Batman is being used as a selling point/front to encourage the sales of exclusive headset. the game is the only reason on that i purchased the headset. for the Exculse Batman game...................
regaurds to your comments.........(It's sad, that you can't play Batman right now because of motion sickness, but you haven't paid for it, so you haven't lost any money.

I didn't mean to offend you in any way, @rhysalmighty.2023
I'm sorry that you misunderstand my comment. The game is a plus when buying the Quest.....usually not the main raeson for buying a vr headset.
About motion sickness.....I thought you were new to vr and just told you my own experience.....with time i got vr legs and just wanted to help you to get them too.
Last.... I'm not working for Meta and I'm not a game developer and not able to give you the teleport option, unfortunately.
Again.....sorry, that you misunderstood me.....maybe my fault.....English isn't my native language.

Have you ever tried Gravol to combat motion sickness? Does wonders for those that get car sick.
The best way to combat VR motion sickness is to stay hydrated, have a fan on, wear light clothing without socks, play for short periods of time and to take the headset off the moment you begin feeling unwell.
Its all about building tolerance. You got this!
