Beat Saber Frame Drops

I've had beat saber for a few months now and I've had no problems up until this point. A few days ago I upgraded my pc with new memory and motherboard. After that, I've been getting awful frame drops that make the game practically unplayable. None of my pc parts are even close to their maximum amount of strain so it not a bottleneck anywhere.  I've tried testing out the headset with different games and everything seems fine. I've tried just about every fix I've seen online including using oculus ott to disable aws, reinstall drivers, reinstall windows, adjust anti-aliasing, reinstalling oculus and beat saber, enabling public test channel, meddling with beat saber priority and core usage, and installing beat saber on SSD. I can't seem to find anything else online to try, and I am desperate for suggestions.

these are my computer specs

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
Motherboard:ASRock B450M PRO4
Memory:32 GB DDR4 2400mhz
GPU: Radeon RX 570

Headset: Oculus Rift S

alright I decided to do a bit of testing and I found the solution and it has made me very confused. I had the rift plugged into a USB 3.2 gen 2 port (10gb/s) as I figured that more speed would be conducive to better performance. But I took your advice to try some of the other ports, the only others being 3.2 gen 1 (5gb/s), turns out something about beat saber just has some serious problems with the higher speed as switching to the lower speed port just solved all of my problems. Thank you for your help I would have never figured this out on my own.

Maybe it's USB-port related. Have you tried other USB-ports? I'd go for the USB 3.1 Gen2 (Rear Type-A). If type A doesn't work, using an adapter you could try the USB-C port.

Otherwise contact Oculus Support.

Plugged in to usb 3.1 type A, unfortunately don’t have an adapter for type c though but that shouldn’t make a difference since both connectors are essentially the same data wise, just different connectors

Maybe, but I think the c port can supply much more power - up to 100w or something.

"What’s more, USB-C supports the USB Power Delivery (USB PD) specification. A USB 2.0 port can deliver just 2.5 watts of power, about enough to charge a phone, slowly. USB 3.1 ups this figure to about 15 watts. But USB PD can deliver up to 100 watts of power, more than six times what USB 3.1 can. This opens up the potential for laptop-powered projectors based on USB-C, but today it is mostly used for high-power chargers and external battery packs."

Then again, I'd start with Oculus Support before spending money. Your problem may of course have nothing to do with power.
