Beat Saber updated but was not applied to the app.

So I just downloaded an update for Beat Saber, and whilst I downloaded it I was playing the game. when I reloaded the game as to apply the update to play multiplayer with friends, the update had not taken effect. I believe that the update was downloaded, as any attempt to update the game fails, but not installed
