Beat saber won’t update

When I try to update Beat Saber I have to go to the meta quest store because it doesn’t show that an update is available when I click on the app. When I click update from the store it says “queued” for a moment, then it starts to update only for a couple of seconds before it just cancels and it says “update” again. I’ve tried updating on my secondary account as well as my admin account.

Do you have room on your headset?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Do other apps install without an issue?

have you tried reconnecting to your network?

I know just enough about tech to look like I know what I'm doing.

I have roughly 35 gb left on the headset, and I’ve tried reconnecting to my network. Other apps are able to update, just Beat Saber can’t. When I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, it downloaded just fine but it’s still stuck on the version that I’m trying to update, and the blue button in the store is still says “update”.

We do see that you are having some issue with Beat Saber not updating, @crayons9178. We'd love to offer some help in addition to what was already asked. Below are some questions we'd like for you to answer so we can try to figure out where your issue is stemming from.

 

  1. Is your headset currently up-to-date?
  2. What version of the app are you currently on?
  3. Is your account a parent-managed/parent-supervised account?
  4. Are you trying to install a DLC, and it's telling you to update?

The version my headset is running is version 67.0. The version that Beat Saber that I’m stuck on is 1.34.2. Both accounts on my Meta Quest are  managed by a parental supervision account.  I am not currently trying to install a DLC, but I have installed some in the past, 3 on my secondary, and 1 on the admin.

My game is not modded.

You said you are on beat saber version 1.34.2

We are already on version 1.37.1.....not sure, if this causes your problem

Check in the mobile app or in the headset if your game is set to correct version.

It looks like this....is an older screenshot, so the version number on the picture isn't correct.

Yes, I am on version 1.34.2. It for some reason won’t update to a higher version.
