Black Ink in Right lens

Finally shared the Rift experience w some family. Today I put on headset and right lens looks like ink explosion. I'm guessing someone may not have taken enough care when placing the headset down and something has broke. Does anyone know what this is and what can I do about it!?

I need help I had the same problem

Hi @riftoff and @reuthebest! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We know it's a great feeling to share the VR experience with family but not so good when it goes wrong!

 

It sounds like the display issue you are both referring to is sun damage which can appear as black dots, streaks, smudges or glares.
