Black Screen Issue during the play with Rift S

Hello,

I have Rift S and plugged to my 2080 TI on display port. During watching something the screen turns black but I still can hear the sound. I checked youtube and found a solution but it didn't work. It was saying to disable USB power suspend setting. So I still have the problem. I'm sure it's a driver and software issue but I've been using the latest drivers both for Oculus and GPU driver. Is there a workaround?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall Oculus software

  2. Go into device manager and uninstall the USB 3.0 Superhub and check the box to delete the driver

  3. Go into appdata and look in all folders and delete anything oculus related.

  4. Unplug the headset from the computer

  5. reboot the computer

  6. Reinstall oculus home (as a brand new setup--don't plug in your headset until it tells you to.
