Black Screen on Oculus AND Monitor

Hello community. I've been getting blackouts on both my monitor and Oculus only after I've been in VR for a minute or 2. The screen is often shaky (frame rate drop) before it goes black. I am running the following:

HP Desktop Computer ENVY Phoenix 860-121 Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700 (3.4 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB Windows 10 Home

I have NVIDIA Experience downloaded and fully updated, but I'm still getting these problems. Any ideas?

When the screen turns black, how long does it stay black? Do you have to do anything to make it come back to normal?
