Blade and Sorcery: Nomad error message "Catalog,gameData is null"

So today i tried to play nomad but this error popped up saying "Game failed to load :(" i tried to uninstall and reinstall but that did not work. Even data clearing did not work and i was confused because this worked yesterday and i didn't get new mods so PLEASE HELP. (Searching up fixes on google did not work) Quest 3

  1. A screenshot of the error message shown 
  2. Is the app downloaded from the Meta platform or a third-party platform (Steam, SideQuest, etc.)?
  3. Are you able to launch other applications within the PCVR app?
  4. Is this an issue with more than one app?
  5. Is the Home Environment having any issues?
  6. Are you using an anti-virus application?

With these details, we'll be able to find the best solution for being unable to launch Blade & Sorcery: Nomad. We look forward to assisting you!

I had fixed the issue by just resetting and deleting all save data then reinstalling but now whenever i look down the screen goes black and even if i restart the device nothing can fix it.

Thank you for the swift response @PhantomIce082, and providing further details of what has worked in the past. For us to get a better idea of what could be the cause of the problem can you provide the following information?

 

  1. Make sure GPU drivers are up to date
  2. A screenshot of the error message shown
  3. Is the app downloaded from the Meta platform or a third-party platform (Steam, SideQuest, etc.)?
  4. Are you able to launch other applications within the PCVR app?
  5. Ensure that the headset is connected to the correct GPU. Both the headset and computer monitor must be plugged into the same graphics card.
  6. Launch the PC VR app by right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting "Run as Administrator"

I am playing the stand alone version of Blades and Sorcery Nomad on the vr headset so no im not on PCVR.

The app is downloaded from the quest market place/App Store.

If this is just happening with a single game and all of your other apps are working fine, and you have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh version, your next step would be to reach out to the game's developer to let them know what you are seeing. Hopefully they will be able to help get everything working for you!
