Blade and Sorcery game fails to load

So im on quest 2 and i've recently been getting this error on blade and sorcery

The game loads to about 27% and then gives me it. And it's not just this save, i've uninstalled and reinstalled it about a dozen times, tried whole new accounts, even going into the files myself and deleting everything for a clean uninstall, nothing seems to be working.

I've heard some devs that have encountered this issue say that its a problem on meta's end, and that the answer is to sadly uninstall and reinstall until it works, but i've done this so many times that I simply don't think it works

Hey @TimeForDie! This could be happening because of the mods that you added to the game. We suggest you go to settings and enable the cloud back up, then log out of your account and perform a factory reset on the device.

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

The device should now begin the Factory Reset process. Let us know if this helps.

Hey @TimeForDie! We appreciate you reaching out and providing photos of what you are seeing on your end. We understand you are having a hard time getting Blade and Sorcery to load and we would be more than happy to help. We do have a few questions to get us started.

  • Are you playing this on PC or on the standalone device?
  • Is your device's software version up to date?
  • When was the last time you were able to play the game?
  • Are you able to launch other apps?
  • If you are using a PC Is the computer compatible and running recent drivers? Does the computer meet the app requirements? You can find the requirements here

Once we get the answers to the questions above we will have better insight on what's going on. We hope to hear from you soon!

I have a PC connected, yet don't use it other then when ingame mod browser wasn't in the game and i had to manually download mods, and as far as i know the headset is up to date.

This has happened before, yet the last time i was just able to go in and delete the mods for the game. Turns out, it isn't always that simple.

I can't remember when this happened last, as a while ago i kinda just left it because i didn't feel like removing the mods manually at the time. it's been months at least.

all the other games are working fine, it's simply blade and sorcery thats having issues.

Have you tried the game delete data fix from within the headset settings?

has fixed the issue for others

I know just enough about tech to look like I know what I'm doing.

No it didn't.

I didn't really have much hope for this as I did make an entire other account and it still didn't work. But I tried it anyway, and it didn't work.

Thanks for helping tho!
