I have paired successfully with a bluetooth Barcode scanner as a HID.
Ive tested with a computer, and when I scan the browser reads the scan and the escape character and performs an action
However, when inside meta browser, in the same application, scanning a barcode in the same way does not do anything. Is there a setting i am missing which is causing the browser to restrict the detection of the scanner input (Which is essentially mimicking a keyboard)
Hope i've explained that correctly

Hey there @ryan_wipflo! We love expanding the variety of Bluetooth devices that are compatible with our Quest products! While this improves with every software update, not all functionality is guaranteed for all Bluetooth devices. We encourage you to use the Report a Problem feature from your headset to send feature feedback directly to our engineers!
It's hard to say for sure what could be causing the Meta Browser to not fully process your scanner's input, while other browsers do. Since it's not technically a keyboard, that could be the cause of the shortcoming. We also recommend posting about this on our Ideas forum, in the event that this device requires to be specifically added to our supported functionality! Please check it out here: https://metaque.st/Ideas
We hope this was helpful, and look forward to hearing about any other questions or issues you may have!
