Hello, I haven’t bought or ever used any of the Meta Quest VR headsets but I am planning on getting one this coming Christmas. I was hoping to get information on if the headset can be used entirely WITHOUT bluetooth and if there’s a certain models that can or cannot. This includes the motion controllers.
I’d appreciate if not if there’s any recommendations on any PC VR headsets that don’t used bluetooth.
@emi.81660 the current meta headsets, use bluetooth for the hand controller operation and the headset uses bluetooth to be set up with a mobile device phone/tablet. Most, if not all VR headsets use bluetooth for some part of their operation. Why the aversion to bluetooth?

Mainly just the scientific research on the effects of bluetooth being used around ur head (e.g wireless headphones). I understand it doesn’t use a huge amount of radiation but if i’m going to be using the headset for hours I just personally would prefer to be careful.
I currently have the Playstation 4 VR headset which is fully wired with battery powered motion controllers and I’d like something similar to that but for PC.
@emi.81660 but, aren't the PSVR1 move controller button pushes transmitted to the PS/headset via bluetooth?
