I bought a Meta Ques 2 and i used it about three times in a week and then i just put it in a box. After a WEEK and lot of updates i tried to wear my headset to play some games again - but the lenses had BLURRED EFFECT. I feel like im blind. Can anybody help me out please? Or can someone just explainto mewhat is going on with my headset? Did i something wrong?? Please..?
Hi Dely, I wonder if you have accidentally adjusted the distance between the lenses.
The lenses have 3 positions. Try squeezing the lenses together until they snap into the first position. If they don't feel quite right then try the 2nd then the 3rd. Hopefully that should solve your issue.
If not, try giving the lenses a wipe with a good quality macrofibre cloth. This should be clean and used without any liquid or solution
Yeah, I agree with @J40NYR. It might be a good idea to try out the lens features. Sometimes the physical part of the whole headset is a bit blotchy. Just because it's kind of hypersensitive. I'm like half blind, and whenever I use the headset, I have to mess with it. Clean it, and set lenses. It really depends, though, because if it's like a "software" issue, it could just be that your headset got nudged internally during game play. Lord knows we move way to much to get that 360-degree scope.
Hi J40NYR. I tried everything that was possible to do with the IPD(if im not wrong, anyway with the lenses.) I always had them on 2nd position, and i always cleaned up them with a nice macrofibre cloth that used to clean the glasses. But nothing helped. I acted with headset like with baby. I cleaned up the lenses, i checked up if headset was cleaned up just to be sure(and its was), then i just put the headset in the box and after a weak founded the lenses pretty blurred up. I mean when i was on youtube or playing games whatever - the immagine was blurred like i gone blind, even i cleaned up again and again nothing helping.. Thats make sad a lot.. :(( (Thank you for the reply..)
Hi there @Dely4! Having a clear display is definitely essential to the best VR experience, and we don't want you to continue missing out! If you haven't already, we highly suggest testing to see if the headset is physically in an ideal spot when gaming. Try holding the headset on both sides and tilting it around at different angles, moving it horizontally, vertically, pressed closer to your face, with the arms at different angles, etc., just to ensure the headset is positioned in the best way.

I wonder if it's just the fact that the quest 2 uses Fresnel lenses and naturally have very narrow sweet spots
Some people did have issues on certain Quest 2 headsets and perhaps it's worth a chat to support to see if you're lenses are more blurry than they should be

I tried to do everything you suggested, but that didnt helped. That had made sad, But tomorrow or in this week i try to get Quest 3, and i hope i dont afroad the same problem.
