Boot Loop

My daughters Meta Quest 2 is stuck in a boot loop. The logo pops up spins once makes the usual sound then glitches and turns off starts over. We have done the factory reset and it continues to happen. We have turned it off and charged it for 24 hours. Sometimes when we are trying to reset it we get the dead android guy saying “no command”. I don’t know what else to do. I spent so much money on this thing in July 2023, it hasn’t even made it a full year. Help?! Please!!

Same problem.. ive been able to factory reset from the boot menu on the Oculus but it just keeps going to that blue loop... hope someone can help 🤞

Hey there @Farter.238. We hate to see your device is going through a boot loop issue. That's never the experience we want you to have! Usually when the dead android logo pops up, one of the three things have taken place:

  1. The volume up button was held instead of the volume down button while trying to factory reset.
  2. The volume up button is sticking while trying to power on the headset.
  3. The headset was powered ON instead of OFF when initiating a factory reset.

Can you check to ensure the volume up button wasn't stuck when preforming a factory reset? I have been unsuccessful in all this myself, I just keep getting the boop loop back and a glitch. I did contact Meta customer care and they have opened a ticket for return. We will send the headset to them in hopes they can fix it or replace it. Thank you for your help.
