The Quest 1 is EOL, meta updates have ceased, and app updates have ended as of 2/25. Please provide bootloader unlock so that owners and the community may continue supporting these devices. Is there a way to provide serial numbers in order to receive bootloader unlock codes?
please provide us the oem unlock feature so we can patch the Quest 1 firmware and download apps we bought from the Meta Quest Store again as you are not intended to do this for us.
If not, please push a firmware update for the quest 1 to correct the problem you (Meta) created :
Good news ! I was able to download (and backup) my apps again, the Meta backend started working tonight. And the errors doesn't appear anymore on my logcat. Is app download working for you ? It's a bit slow but it works.
Unfortunately I can't back up because in their infinite lack of wisdom the Oculus support reps told me that doing a factory reset would solve the download problem. So not only can I no longer download anything I also now have nothing on the headset at all.
