Boundry broken

No matter what i do i cant seem to fix it so what happens is i set a boundry but after a few seconds it just says your boundry could not save any help? im on quest 2

Hello @JeffVR22. We see you've went through quite a few series of steps to try to fix your issue. Hopefully we can get your issue resolved and get you back in the VR world as smoothly as possible. Have you tried the following suggestions when trying establish your boundary on your Quest 2? 


  1. Stand as close as possible to the center of the intended play area when drawing your boundary.
  2. Look around the room when drawing your boundary. Only looking in one direction while drawing your boundary reduces the likelihood of remembering your boundary in the future.
  3. Ensure that you have appropriate lighting but avoid direct sunlight in your play area. If you can read a book in your play area, that's sufficient.
  4. Always make sure the area within the boundary is clear of hazards and obstacles.

Something to note as well is, if the space or lighting has changed significantly (Additional furniture, windows, people moving around the set the boundary), this could prevent your boundary from saving properly.
