This piece that helps the strap adjust on the Quest 3 broke. Has anyone found a solution to this ? It seems that different headset options also use this piece. Anyone found anything ? Customer service was ZERO help and told me to post here.

If you are still under warranty then meta support should be able to offer you a refurbished replacement imho. Otherwise, consider getting a halo-type strap like bobo’s. Many find that halo straps don’t need a top strap.
Same thing happened to me with my Q2. After trying to glue it back in this didn’t last very long. I ended up attaching a bit of self adhesive Velcro to the top/front of the headset a used some extra Velcro on the strap. This still works ok but doesn’t look all that pretty, lol! This definitely is a weak link that meta should replace with something a lot more solid, maybe a metal shaft.

On the Quest 2 this was on a separate part and replacement is fairly straight forward.
On the Quest 3 it is part of the frame and needs a near complete disassembly of the headset to replace the frame.
You may need to keep pestering support and escalate the support ticket. If the headset is under warranty they could at least offer to swap the headset out with a refurbished unit, which seems to be the standard option.
Otherwise fixmyoculus.com would probably repair it for you swapping out the frame. Due to the labor it won't be cheap though. You'd have to contact them for an estimate but I'd guess it would be around $180-200 USD.

@NomadsAnIsland The Q2, which I still have, but don’t use it much since getting a Q3, has the same front strap guide. It is part of the facial interface, not a separate part. I will say that the Q3’s does seem to be a little more robust, but probably could be further improved, as I’ve already suggested.

Unless we're talking about a different part:

@NomadsAnIsland I'm surprised these pin brackets aren't on thingyverse, but modelled a little more robustly.

Those are not part of the stock Q2 facial interface. Have you managed to get one of these and try it out? Looks a bit complicated, to me anyway. Thanks.
