Bug - v76 update causes Netflix on Browser to lose Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Surround audio playback

I have a Quest 3 which Auto updated to the latest v76 release version (v76.0.0.433.314.718892798  with Quest Browser v37.2 ) on April 8th and when that happened, Netflix on the Browser reverted to non-spatial head locked stereo on all audio streams. The Dolby Atmos/Surround 5.1 spatial effects were not working anymore (Dialogue was not anchored to the screen position, Music and effects did not sound like they surrounded you). When you turned you head the audio ignored the screen position and just played in stereo. The Netflix site still showed that Dolby Atmos was the audio output stream but the output was standard stereo. This also occurred on audio streams noted as 5.1, which also used to work in full surround mode.

All of the other streamers I have access to (Max, Disney,  Hulu , Amazon and Peacock) have stereo sound that is still fixed to the screen position/width in space (without any surround effects). Netflix does not currently even do that - It is head locked stereo.

The full spatial Dolby Atmos/5.1 Surround playback makes the Quest a great media consumption tool. Please fix it so it works again.

Also FYI - Disney Plus had this as well for a little while but it reverted back to screen based directional stereo like all the rest of the streamers.

Thanks

Also, it still baffles me why most (all I have tested) media playback apps on the Quest platform do not support proper 5.1 (or 7.1 or Atmos 9.1.4) audio playback by using virtual speaker positions to stick the Left/Center/Right channels to the screen position and then put the other surround/height channels around, above and behind you...

Update:   v76.1023  (AKA - 76.0.0.499.314.722237281 ) has been released and the headset updated but there is no change to this behavior.

Netflix is still outputting head locked stereo.

Browser is still at 37.2  (which, ironically, has not been listed on the browser release notes page even though I received it several weeks ago).

The other note was that when Dolby Atmos/5.1 playback was working, the surround channel layout didn't quite sound correct.  When you turned your head the rear surround channels did not seem to be behind me, they appeared to be beside me . Not sure about the Atmos height channels positions, but it would be good to position the virtual speakers correctly  -  so the L C R channels are locked to the position and size of the screen,  the Rear surrounds should be behind , while the Atmos height speakers should be above and in front/behind (if a 7.1.4 layout is being supported  - which Meta should be doing as a minimum... ).

For anyone interested - ( Dolby Atmos - Atmos installation guidelines PDF   )  this documents all the possible Dolby Atmos layouts that we should be striving for.

I just upgraded to v76 today and noticed the same issue. No more spatial audio in Netflix running in the browser. It used to work before.
