Hey there meta questuals of knowledge and trouble shooting problem solving wizards of wonder... it's been a minute since we last talked...which is good! That means I've had minimal issues and I've been able to rock out on my VR and become a beat saber legend over the last year without too many technical problems...BUT...T......here i am today with a conundrum that perhaps you can tell me what to do to make it better...
When i go to record a video, (because I'm a YouTubeR now, *my kids made me do it) the little red light comes on, I do my thang, hit the two little buttons to end the video (which doesn't always work b T dubs) and then i go to my files, find my most recent video, and here's where it gets whack, the video says it's 40 minutes, but then hit play and it's only 5 seconds...FIVE SECONDS!!! So me... I delete it, go do it again... and once more...same outcome! Sooooo then!!! THEN!!! I take off my meta quest 2 and throw on my 3 (the back story of how much money I've payed to meta quest is epic, don't worry, it was all worth it!) But so, I've got the 3 on...not the same as my two, my video is gonna be different because I modded my 2, but not my 3 and the people wanna see the mods, but whatever, I'll just make a regular video..so I do... and here I am lookin at 5 seconds of nothing!!!!!!! 5 seconds!!!! Wtf!! It's not the same!! Whyyyyyyyy!!! A whole new headset...so now I'm blaming people and pointing fingers. But wait...because **bleep** still gets a little strange... I decide to go check my meta app on the phone and look at the video there..and low and behold, the whole thing is there....BUt!!!!! BUT!!!!!! THEN!!!! I go back to my headset, which have all been restarted, rebooted. Checked for updates, all the stuffs I consider easy...and I come to see, all my videos have now been deleted!!! Gone!!!! ....i dont care tho really, that was a favor, because I can be lazy and forget to delete stuff..but still...there was prolly a treasure in there...but it's ok...anyway....
That's my story... what should I do?

A similar thing is happening to me. It stops recording full videos. Just shows 5 seconds. I had to save my files then factory restore my headset. That fixed the issue for one night but it returned the next day. I think there's something wrong with the recent update. They're doing something to the record feature and I don't like it. It's one of the most important features to me. If they screw it up, I'll never buy another quest and I've purchased all of them from 1-3.
