CONTROLLERS VIBRATING & FLASHING CONSTANTLY

Hello... I'm hoping someone can help me out please? My controller's have stopped working on my oculus quest 2... they flash & vibrate every 5 seconds... I've tried multiple things but to no avail ☹️ PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello kenzielyttle09. We know what it's like when you get really into gaming, and then your controller stops responding. Let's see what we can do to help you.

 

Let's try some steps for when controllers don't work:

  • Remove the batteries from the controller (leave them out for five minutes this will make them update the drivers for the controllers)
  • Place brand new batteries in the controller. Do the controllers light up?
  • Un-pair and re-pair your controllers

I too am having the same problem! I followed your steps and they did not work. I also tried the recommended steps on the link you provided. 

When you were unpairing the controllers and taking out their batteries, was there any change at all? Were they responsive to the headset itself? @Ambar745

Mine were not. Only buzzing every few seconds and no tracking or pairing.

Hey hey @Dronicus! Controllers are a vital part to enjoying VR, and I want to make sure you get yours working again. Were you able to try the troubleshooting steps provided by @MetaQuestSupport above? If you haven't yet, I would definitely suggest trying that first. Let me know if any of the troubleshooting helped, or if we need to keep looking into this!

Still happening. I tried letting the Quest charge fully, and that didn't change anything. I can sometimes get to three dots in the center of the screen, and the volume controls work, but there is no sound and no VR of note.

  • What Quest device do you own?
  • Are you having issues with just one or both controllers?
  • When was the last time that the controllers worked properly?
  • Can you elaborate on the three dots that you are seeing?
    • Are you seeing these while trying to pair the controllers to your headset?

I'm having the controller issue and thought a factory reset would work it did one time but now the controllers are unresponsive and I'm stuck at set upscreen

SAME WITH MINE it's happened for a day I've went to support and they recommend buying new ones I've unpaired re-paired did everything and nothing works @MetaQuestSupport figure this out ASAP
