CV1 no audio

I lost audio in my rift headset and because I dropped it and could visibly see the broken flex cable, I bought a replacement headset and I have no audio coming through. I have tried every fix but no audio comes through. Could it just be another faulty headset?

@huckle3  unfortunately, headsets this old will have had a lot of use and ultimately the ribbon cable inside the headstrap will fail. Remove the CV1 headphones and use your own headphones plugged into the PC
