So I bought a Quest 3 two months ago, and while using Link, I noticed that there is no way to load up my home environment, in which I've spent hours when I had my Rift S since 2020. After some research, I discovered that Meta has decided just to delete the feature without a warning. It wasn't a fun discovery, as I loved to be in that place, it was like a second home to me! I've spent so much time decorating the place, and it's just gone now. I did find a list of my homes on the Oculus/Meta website, there's only one, and I can click "Visit Place", but all it does is open up the Oculus app and I see the Rift menu (which btw is nicer than the Quest IMO), and the infinite white void.
Is there ANY way to at least get the files? Maybe install an older version of the Oculus software and load up my home, save it, and update it? Anything I can do? Or is my virtual home gone forever😢? I might be in a minority here, but losing this place felt incredibly similar to moving out of my childhood home. It's not a good feeling.

Currently, we do not have an official way to access those Rift S Home Environment files through your Quest device, as the Rift S Home Environments are no longer supported. That said, this is such great insight and it's important to us that your voice is heard! Yeah, dude, that reply you got from them was their nice way of blowing you off. Check reddit or somewhere there. I remember there being some discussion about it. I want mine back to and they blew me off the same way.
