I have an older Quest 2 (2-4 years old), the left controller started experiencing horrible drift and erratic movements. I ordered a new joystick to replace it. The replacement was going fine until I accidentally broke off the ribbon cable that connects the trigger to the motherboard. I was wondering if it is possible to send the broken controller in to have it repaired, or if I have to just suck it up and buy a new controller.
Thank you.

You can never tell with support, sometimes they can be very generous so log a support ticket. They may replace it for you, although clearly it's not under warranty. They don't offer any repair services though.

I have a quest, 3S controller that I got on Christmas on 2024 and now every time I try to play it doesn’t connect I’ve tried everything and when I shake the controller I hear shaking and I think it has loose screws and I don’t want to risk breaking it by dismembering it so I think it just needs to get the screws put back in to work properly thank you.

I got my quest 2 back in 2022. i've had no issue's with it but recently my right controller broke. To be more specific, My index button randomly started to pushing into the controller by itself. I think there was something in the controller that was keeping the button in place, but i think i've pressed the button so many times it just broke, Then the whole button fell out. Now i got a controller with no index button, so it's just a hole on the side of the controller. Last time i looked how much a quest 2 controller cost's it was 70 Dollars. but that was back in 2023 (My controller was not broken back then). But today i went to look to see if i should buy a new controller, and i saw that the price has gone up alot and kinda having economic trouble. Isn't there another solution, if there is please reach out to me.
Thanks!

@freaky_Kanye_north seriously, Quest 2 controllers are so easy to fix. Look at the 'fix my oculus' videos on YT and save yourself a fortune. All the replacement parts are on aliexpress.
