I wanna get a Metta quest 3 but was wondering if I could transfer my account and the games on it to the new one. And if I can I would have to sell my quest 2 to do this. So if I factory reset my headset and sell it will I be able to buy a new quest 3 and transfer my account and games on there or do I have to buy a new one put the account on it and then sell it the old one. Or do I just have to buy a new one.?
All games are bound to the account that bought them. If you factory reset your current headset and sell it, your account will still exist in the Meta system. Then just set up your new headset using the same account and all your games will be there.
Or you can have multiple headsets at the same time with a single account (my Quest 1, Quest 2 and Quest 3 all run on one account).
