Can my laptop runs Rift S?

Hello,
I'm wanting to buy a Oculus Rift S, I'm totally new to VR but I really don't want to miss HL Alyx. I'm a huge HL fan.

I have a GTX 1060, i7 7700HQ and 24GB of RAM laptop, this laptop is a Clevo build from my country, very similar to Origin PC laptops in the US. But the main difference is that it has a (full size) display port on the back connected directly to the GeForce. Its not a hybrid intel laptop, its GeForce only. I'm planning to upgrade to a desktop but the Rift S will be pretty pricy so i'll need to wait a little.

I read that most people didn't have luck with laptop but mostly because those laptops didn't have DP, only HDMI ou USB-C. So I'm here asking if I'll have any problem running the Rift S on my laptop? Beside the obvious bare minimum hardware specifications. I also have a USB 3.0 hub bundled with my monitor (The monitor is a Alienware AW2518HF) so i can "bypass" USB if the laptop cannot supply the minimum power requirements for powering the Rift S.

I'd say probably, my laptop has a miniDP connected to the 1070 and works fine (also no Intel graphics) so if you have the opportunity to buy with a return window go for it 🙂
Laptops ar a minefield for VR, so unless someone has exactly the same laptop and can respond the best we can say is might...
PC info: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - Sapphire 7900XTX - 32GB DDR4 4000 - 3 NVMe + 3SATA SSD - Quest 2 & 3
