So my wife wanted me to sideload something for her, as she's not as comfortable at using SideQuest as I am. SideQuest keeps throwing an error about developer mode not being turned on on her device, and won't connect. Problem is, developer mode *is* turned on, has been turned on, and I made sure to turn it off and on several times, rebooting the Quest, etc. I even made sure to turn the "usb prompt" setting off and on between reboots.
When I try to manually connect via a command prompt window, using "adb devices," it shows nothing. The Quest never gets a RSID fingerprint prompt; only the default "view files" prompt.
I have successfully connected her Quest 2 to my computer before and sideloaded stuff for her. Most notably when she was supporting Puzzling Places on Patreon before it was on the official store.
Any thoughts or suggestions other than the last resort of a factory reset? Her developer account has been verified with both a phone number and a payment method, and has worked just fine in the past.
