I'm trying to access some webVR (sketchfab primarily) using the rift.
I've it hooked up to an Ailenware 51 with Nvidia gtx 1080 graphics card with up-to-date drivers. I've allowed the oculus software to accept data from external unknown sources. I've the latest version of Firefox.
I can run the dreamdeck demo in the oculus software fine.
In theory I should be able to go to sketchfab and view the VR in either the browser or directly from the models. But nothing feeds through to the headset. When I am in the scenario that is optimized for desktop and hit enter nothing happens. The home screen on the headset remains the same.
When I try to access some of the webVR demos from mozilla through, the firefox browser, then I may get audio feed and a firefox logo in the headset viewer but that is it.
I'm probably missing something simple but I cant find any information online. Your help would be very gratefully received.
Try to search for other sites with webvr demos. Not all of them will work. Have you seen mozvr page? First of all you need to launch browser after you launch home. So you could see FF logo instead of Home. Then you need to press "vr" icon on web site. Also search for FF config setting for VR.
