Does anyone have the same problem as me? My phone and Oculus quest2 have been unable to pair successfully. Tried many times, including re-downloading the APP and resetting oculus

I have the same issue

I'm having the exact same issue except it's with the original Quest-1. I have a feeling it has something to do with Meta/Facebook pushing the most recent update that requires people to use Meta accounts and such.
I emailed Oculus support, and it looks like the Developers are already quite aware of the issue and are going to fix it as soon as possible. How long that'll actually be only time will tell.

Hey @cgroninlab . @DominatorVIP is correct. They're currently working on a fix. There hasn't been a timeline mentioned either. I really hope they fix this sooner than later. If I hear anything I'll let you know.

Hello, same here cannot do the intial pairing with quest2 and iphone 6s. Tried for 4 hours, several factory reset/ app reinstall. Weirdly enough from the app it detects the quest2 as connected but still cannot do the pairing.
I'm really surprised we cannot simply setup the headset by connecting to our meta account. I hope this pairing part is dropped as it seem to be a recurring issue.

Yes, I've been having the same issue for days. I had a unit with a faulty battery, Oculus replaced it quickly enough after jumping through many hoops before being granted a replacement, but what good is a replacement if it doesn't work?
The worst part is going through the help page and when you contact customer support and see "make sure the phone and headset are on the same wi-fi". It's like they don't even know how their headset works. If I could connect the headset to wi-fi I wouldn't be contacting you. The thing has to connect to a phone before it can connect to the wi-fi. You should know this because you made it this way.
Every other device has a screen for you to enter your wi-fi password, or an alternative method for setting up. Why wouldn't the HDM and controllers have a pairing mode? Why doesn't the headset run independently when plugged in while charging the battery like every single laptop and chromebook ever built? Was the R&D department on a smoke break when they released the Quest 2?
Before I was playing at half battery life, now all I have is a hand showing me how to pull the battery tab on a controller. That hand might as well be giving me the finger.
Thanks a lot Oculus... Meta...whatever your name is.

Maybe you should specify what issue, the model and the phone you have as it might help.
