Can't Factory Reset Oculus Quest

My Quest have been slow and acting wierd so I thought I would try and factory reset it.
Started the reset but after a long while it endend up failing and now if I try and start it or do a factory reset it always ends up with the message below:

So I'm not sure what I can do now?
I can't find anything about how to reflash it from a PC or something.

Have you attempted the other methods of performing a factory reset, RobertSydbrink? We know how upsetting it may be to receive this error suddenly and we want to be sure all reset methods are attempted before looking into next steps. Please give these steps a try and let us know if you continue to have an issue with the factory reset not completing.

 

From the Headset

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

 

From the Meta Quest mobile app

  1. Open the Meta Quest app on your phone.
  2. Tap Devices in the bottom menu.
  3. Tap the headset connected to your phone.
  4. Tap Advanced Settings.
  5. Tap Factory Reset and then Reset.

 

From your Account

  1. Log into the Oculus account profile page
  2. Go to My Devices
  3. Select the Device and click Delete Device Data
  4. Click Continue
  5. A email with a code will be sent to the customers email, they will need to enter the code and click Submit

  • Is your mobile app paired with your Quest 1? If so, you can perform a factory reset using the mobile by following the steps we've shared here.

My quest is blocked on the logo meta.

Even the hard reset fonction (vol Down+power) doesn t work.

I have this screen when i do the factory remet by this way....nothing works

Hello again, @nanakii! Thanks for sharing that screenshot with us. Now that we know the error message that you're receiving, we wanted to have you try some steps to see if this resolves the issue. 

 

  1. Please let all of the power drain from your headset until there is no charge.
  2. Then leave your headset on the charger overnight.
  3. Restart your headset.
  4. Then please try to perform the factory reset one more time. 

Once you have tried these steps and the issue is still there, we can look into any other options that may be available to you. Thanks for your time and patience today.
