Can't I use a USB wired keyboard in Tetris Effect VR on Quest 3?

Hi;

I just bought my Quest 3, and am trying to get it to work with my Windows 11 computer's wired USB keyboard.

I want to play Tetris Effect (on Steam) in VR on the Quest 3 using my wired USB keyboard on the PC.

I first tried using Steam VR on the PC, and Steam Link in the Quest 3.
I was able to use the keyboard at first, but after about 30 seconds or so, the keyboard stops working and I must use the Quest controllers to manipulate blocks.

I figured this was a problem with Steam, so I purchased Virtual Desktop for the Quest 3, and installed the VD streaming server on my desktop PC - Windows 11 Pro latest update.

I could never get the PC keyboard to work in Tetris while running Virtual Desktop.
I tried with and without the Meta Quest Link running on my PC.

On my Quest 2, I was always able to use the PC keyboard when I ran the game through Steam VR and Steam Link.

Has something changed on the Quest 3 that no longer allows the PC keyboard, or is there a setting I am missing?

I did some experimentation.
I am unable to stop the Quest 3 hand controllers from masking the computer keyboard while playing Tetris Effect on my PC using Steam VR on the PC and Steam Link in the Quest 3.
So I had the idea to remove the batteries from the hand controllers and restart Steam VR and Steam Link.
It takes a bit of practice to use your own hands to select the game in the Quest 3 without the use of the hand controllers, but I was able to get Tetris running and playing with my computer's USB keyboard.

There should be a method to turn off the Quest 3 hand controllers, and I'm sure there is, but I am sleepy now so I'm not going to pursue this today.

This was much easier on the Quest 2. I was able to start Steam VR and Steam Link, select the game with the hand controller, lay them down on my lap or table, and play the game with the computer's USB keyboard.

Apparently this has all changed in the Quest 3. I know I can pair a bluetooth keyboard with the Quest 3, but I don't have a bluetooth keyboard. I use a wired mechanical keyboard for all of my games and everything else on the PC.
