Can't add a 2nd account in Quest 2 or 3 without a Facebook Account?

I no longer need a Facebook account to use my Quest 2 or 3 which is WONDERFUL. Now I want to do app sharing on my Quest 2 so I can play multiplayer with my daughter.  I created a Meta Account (non facebook) for her, but I could not add it in the Quest 2.  When i select "Add Account" it only lets me add a Facebook or Instagram account.  My daughter has neither and I am not creating one because she is still a minor.  I thought Meta has already removed the requirement for Facebook accounts to use Quest headsets, why is this still happening?  Is there something wrong with my Quest 2?

How you describe your situation, you are trying to add your daughter's account in the account center. There you will only get the Facebook/Instgram option.
You have to go in the headset settings NOT to account center, but to accounts.
Tap on that and on the following window on "add accounrts" in the upper right corner.

One thing........you normally cannot play multiplayer with a shared game. A shared game will not run on two devices at the same time. 🙁
For multiplayer each account needs his own game.... but you can share your other games with your daughter, so you don't have to buy them a second time.
