Can't add a second user

I am unable to add a second user.  I have tried adding a user through the headset.  I get the code, but when I try to acutually add the user I am getting stuck on the "add a work email" prompt.  This is not a new unit, I've had it for 2 years and have been able to add a user before with no problem.

So I tried adding a user through the mobile app.  I get as far as the account finding the headset.  It then asks for the 5 digit code that should be visible in the headset, but there is nothing visible.  So I can't get any further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, @hfeatherston. We understand the importance of being able to create a new account on your headset for other users to use while enjoying the VR world on your headset. We'd like to recommend the following helpful tips:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Meta Quest mobile app.
  2. Restart your headset.
  3. Try creating the account again, ensuring that all the requirements are met (click here for more details on the requirements for a Meta account).

I really appreciate your attention to my issue.  I tried the method you suggested, but it still didn't work.  We're sharing my account now.

Thank you for getting back with us on this. Just to ensure we have exhausted all troubleshooting steps, we'd like for you to try clicking here to create the new meta account. Once the new account is created, you will need to login to the mobile app. If you are already logged in on the mobile app with a different Meta account, we recommend logging out of that account to log into the new Meta account. However, we do want to remain transparent in this matter. You're only able to add up to three additional Meta accounts to your device.
