Can't add any payment methods to my account.

Hi, I can't add any payment methods to my account. I've tried 3 different debit cards. I've tried 3 different browsers and I've even tried the Meta app. Every time I press add card it says "Sorry, we couldn't add your payment method." I have funds on all three of my debit cards so I'm not sure what's going wrong.

Anyone able to help at all, please?

I'm in the UK if that helps.

Hey there, @Veisenberg! Adding a payment method can sometimes be a little tricky, but don't worry, we're here to make the process as smooth as possible for you! 

To add your debit card, please make sure you've followed these steps:

  1. Open the Meta Quest mobile app on your phone
  2. Tap Menu, then swipe down and tap Wallet.
  3. Tap +  then tap Credit or Debit Card, PayPal Account or Gift Card.
  4. Enter your payment information to add your payment method.

Also, your gonna want to make sure your debit card is one of the following: 

  • American Express
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

If those were the steps you followed and it's still not letting you add a card, kindly let us know, as we want to make sure you're taken care of!

this is also happening to me, i have tried multiple payment methods

same here. I wrote to help center... so I hope I'll get an answer soon. Do you have a solution meanwhile?
