I've added my CC details and set my country to United Kingdom (GB), but the "postal code" field can't be edited... If I try to click "Add Payment Method" I get an error "Error adding payment method. Please check your credit card info." But the info IS correct, except I can't add a post code because it won't let me.... HELP!
I have a solution. Change the country to US or UK, now the ZIP code is available, write something in there that is acceptable az a zip code. Then change back to your country, the zip code area is grayed out again and can't be edited, but the accept payment button stays active. Click it and that's it. I managed to buy stuff this way. To be honest it's one of the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen from a big IT company. The first report was 7 month ago and they can't fix it... pathetic. What a bunch of morons.
I am having the same issues and have tried 3 different CC with the same results for each. Support isn't helping any since they only tell me to do what I have already done over and over and over. Seems to be an issue on their part not ours. It needs to be fixed fast esp since the touch controllers are coming out in 2 days w/ 53 more games we cant buy from them. Thank god amazon and steam like my CC....

I'm also having the exact same issue. I've tried three different cards and it won't work for any of them. I can't even add a PayPal account, I just get the "Adding PayPal account" with the loading circle forever.
A few months ago, I tried using a Mastercard gift card as payment. Oculus refused it, but Google Play accepted it right away. Now, I'm trying to add a Visa gift card. And again, Oculus is saying: Error There was an error trying to add your payment method. I wrote to Oculus Support, and if they don't get back to me with a way to make my Visa gift card work, or give me the name of a gift card they WILL accept, I'm done. I only have a Gear VR. I don't need this crap. I can spend my VR budget elsewhere. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops (or surrender massive amounts of personal information) just to buy a product. The fact that Oculus doesn't have its own gift card (even STEAM has one!) after all this time makes me think that lots of people at Oculus need to be fired.
Add card info, expiration date, secure code as usual, leave "United states" as a country, add your real zipcode, switch United states to your country and click "Add Payment Method". Worked for me.
