I have been going crazy. Just got a meta quest 3 fully working and fine, but I can’t add a payment method neither in the phone app, nor on the oculus store (vr). I have tried 8 different credit/debit cards. Including, discovery, visa, mastercard, american express. I have already added payment options to facebook, and linked all my accounts together. I have tried using the meta website as well as Meta Horizon web portal as well. Please send help. I literally can’t buy any games, and I’m about to… you know what.
the error is, “can’t add your payment details now, sorry :). Try again later.” the kind that doesn’t help you at all.

Can you please do the below trouble shooting steps:
Recently made a successful online purchase from a US merchant?
Check to see if the financial institution placed any restrictions
Try another network connection type
Try another network location
Try different combinations of the area/zip code
Restart the device
Try another device
If the issue still persist, let us know.

have you tried adding a gift card to your Quest cash wallet?
Get one with a small amount to try that out.
It's not a solution, but if it works, you can at least buy games.😉

nothing has changed. I have also bought a 25$ gift card from amazon, and I can’t redeem that as well. This ecosystem of meta is really starting to feel like a scam, HOW COULD IT BE THAT I CAN’T REDEEM A F*CKING GIFT CARD BRO I LITERALLY THREW AWAY 25 BUCKS

I even tried it with vpn, with a different account and with gift cards. Nothing works.
