Earlier this year when using my Quest 3 and casting to a web browser I was able to change which aspect ratio was being used on the web browser itself, but I no longer am able to change that, and it's forced to 16:9 no matter what I change the recording settings to on the Quest 3 itself.
I really liked having the 4:3 or 1:1 option, and am wondering if there is a way to enable that for casting again?

I have the same problem casting my Quest 3 on Chrome. There's no way to set the aspect ratio to 1:1, and so top e bottom are cropped. I'm sure that 1 month ago (April 18) I was able to cast with 1:1 option
Hey there @Ug002! Looks like support provided the resource to make a bug report of this issue. I, too, highly recommend submitting one as well so the devs can pull the report and look into it.

When I cast something the picture is extremely cropped, only a thin bar of maybe 1/3 or 1/2 of what i see can be seen on the screen. any way to fix that?
when i was still casting with my Quest 2 it still was 1:1 and the https://www.oculus.com/casting/ had an optional widescreen option. now with the Quest 3 its gone too.. and judging by a lot of other complaints, this also wont be fixed for years to come if ever.
