Can't connect device with meta.com/device

EDIT 2: Instead of waiting 24 to 48 hours for meta to answer my ticket, I just factory reset my device, and redownloaded all my apps. Works fine now. Probably the best solution in all honesty

 

I have a Quest 2, and it recently updated after having refused to do so for about a week. I always hit update before shutting down but it just shuts down anyway. But this morning I guess it worked cause it no longer prompts to update when shutting down, but since it has, I can't use my device all that much. It won't open my profile on the bottom left of the "taskbar", avatar won't load, and online games don't work. But the app store and browser work, so it's not wifi connection. EDIT: It won't even let me play games. The second I do it sends me back to the home loby

It kept telling me to go to meta.com/device to connect my device, even says "on this headset" with my meta account for @Kaosu_Riron, so it recognizes I'm using the device with that META account, but it says log into the meta account I have connected to my FACEBOOK that's using my YAHOO account, but all my META log in is connected to my GMAIL? No matter how many times I tried to close it, it immediately opened again. So I open the website on my phone to try to connect anyway, but before I can type the code it gives me, it just disappears saying there was an error. I generate a new code, put it in, and it says it worked and my device restarted itself, only to start back up to the same situation, online games don't work, can't open the profile at the bottom left of "taskbar", avatar won't load, only app store and browser work, set up device screen won't close.

I tried connecting the device 4 times and it's the same thing. It's the correct account and it still has all my apps and stuff on it, but the profile just doesn't seem to want to connect. it eventually loaded my profile picture at the bottom again, but that's the farthest it's gotten. I've had this device a few months, and even played on it this morning before it updated and it worked fine.

Short of a factory reset, no. I messaged Meta support and now I'm hoping they realize this is a common issue and force patch it or something.

The same is happening to me. I have used my oculus perfectly fine for years, but after an update last night it is asking me to log in with another device. When I try to it says that my email is invalid despite being logged into it on the headset. All games are locked out and I can't use my headset. Any Ideas for solutions?

Quick update: Factory reset works. A headache but minor inconvenience.
