Can't find developer mode anymore on Quest Pro

Hi!

I recently had a RMA for my quest pro and that included receiving a factory new headset.

On my previous headset, the developer mode was there and turned on. But now on the new headset, it doesn't show the toggle for developer mode anymore and only shows this toggle:

Debug Mode (To use adb with your VR headset connected over USB or Wi-Fi, debug mode must be enabled)

"

Im using the exact same user account and I both have a organization in the meta developer portal, and all 2FA are enabled, and my account is verified. 

I do not understand why the toggle is not there anymore, I need it for my daily use.

Thanks for reaching out to us, @LunaMellow! We regret any inconvenience that may have been caused by the removal of developer mode from your Quest Pro once you received a new headset from a RMA. We understand the importance of developer mode, particularly for Quest Pro users, and we want to assist you in activating it on your Quest.  To ensure clarity, is your Quest Pro currently running the most up-to-date software version? Verify that your Quest is running the latest released software build by reviewing the Meta Quest release notes

 

 

Once you have updated your Quest Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta app, and hard rebooted your device, proceed to review and complete the steps to set up developer mode.

We understand that your device is new from the factory, but we kindly request that you uninstall and reinstall the Meta Quest app, as well as hard reboot your Quest Pro.

To hard reboot your headset:

  1. With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  2. Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.
