Me and my friend wanted to get the 30 dollar store credit to buy games i bought a new quest 3 but when i tried clicking on a link for store credit it gave me an error and i couldnt generate codes too
We would like to confirm that both parties have followed the steps here. After following those steps, if you are still not able to receive that credit, we would like to make sure of the following:
To make a referral, customers must have a registered Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro.
The recipient's Meta account cannot already be associated with any Meta Quest devices.
Older Oculus devices (such as the Oculus Quest 1) should not make a referral ineligible.
The referral recipient must register a new Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro.
The device must be new, not refurbished, and not previously registered to another account.
The system will automatically convert the referral credit to the currency used by the Meta Quest store for the customer's location.
Both the referrer and the recipient must be at least 18 years old (19 in South Korea).
It can take up to 7 days for the referral to reflect in your account as well. If all steps have been done correctly, qualifications have been met, and it has been longer than 7 days to reach back out to us, we are happy to continue assisting you. Thanks, let's talk soon!

As per terms and conditions of our Referral program the recipient's Meta account cannot already be associated with any Meta Quest devices.
If this is the case you won't be able to get the store credit at this time.
