I can't seem to use my index finger to point with my left touch controller, it doesn't seemed to work/detect. Not sure if it's a software or a hardware issue. I have tried: Reinstalling Oculus Software Changing the batteries
Nothing seemed to work i just got the controllers few days ago.
My finger touch recognition on the thumb sticks failed right after I clicked one of the sticks too hard. I felt something inside "break away" or feel as if it was noticeably different after this hard press of the stick. The finger detection sensors stopped working... including the pointer and thumb.
This is a definite HARDWARE issue because I bought NEW controllers to replace the old ones this happened too... and the SAME thing happened to these new controllers. What the heck broke internally? I'll heat up the iron
I have similar problem and my left controller show that finger is resting on stick, y- and x-button. I haven't yet solved this. Replacing battery can fix it for very short time period.
I don't have those files in my "TouchCalibration" folder. In fact, it's empty. Even when I click on "Home" from the menu and it loads up the home place nothing happens. The folder is still empty. Can someone here maybe upload those calibration files somewhere?
After further research it appears that people with the Rift S can't do anything about it because the TouchCalibration folder is empty for us.. Sooo. I guess we're just screwed.
