I've tried a bunch of times, both splitting C and D and then just putting the whole thing on D. It just wont install. Both drives are NTFS and Basic, and its Windows 10 64-bit. This is driving me crazy. I just opened a ticket as well - I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
Yea I’ve tried to force it to D more than once 🙂 I pasted one of the errors in up above - I’ve seen more than one flavor of error since I must have done this like 50 times.
just a random thought but maybe try again deleting any file in program files, appdata, etc. and then using Clean Master or CClean to check the windows registry for invalid keys (don't forget to backup your windows registry first) and then try again
Letting anyone know, I had the same error and i moved the OculusSetup.exe to the C:\ Root folder and for some reason it worked.. This is if you get the "File 'Home2\Content\Paks\Home2-WindowsNoEditor.pak' is missing or invalid." Good luck!
